If you are hiring your new vehicle in your own name, unfortunately you cannot claim any of this VAT back from HM Customs and Excise and as such you will be hiring the vehicle on a PERSONAL CONTRACT HIRE (PCH) agreement.

If however the vehicle is being hired in the name of your company, the company will be able to claim a minimum of 50% of the VAT back, and the vehicle will be on a CONTRACT HIRE (CH) agreement.

Whether PCH or CH the same finance calculations are used:

Contract Term: this refers to the finance period over which the contract is applied, Time4leasing uses 2 and 3 years as a norm but can fund the vehicle for up to a maximum of 5 years. In general terms the longer the contract period the cheaper the monthly repayments. 

Spread Rentals: On our standard contract the finance houses require 3 times the monthly rental as an initial payment followed by either 23 or 35 further rentals. These are often shown as 3 + 23 or 3 + 35.

Maintenance: All contracts are available with maintenance.

Annual Mileage: Your expected annual mileage has an impact on the price of the vehicle, Tine4leasing strongly recommend that you over estimate your mileage, it is more expensive in the long term to under estimate your usage as the “over mileage” charges levied by the finance companies at the end of the contract period are punitive.

Administration Fee: Time4Leasing is charged a fee by the finance house to process the documentation which we have to pass onto our customers.

Deposit: Time4Leasing requires a refundable Holding Deposit of £250 with each order, this allows us to reserve the vehicle with the relevant supplier, and this deposit is subtracted from the initial payment when the vehicle is delivered.
