Maintenance (SMR)
Vehicles supplied nationwide by HALO Solutions come with road fund licence for
the duration
of the agreement, delivery to and collection from the
designated
address are also included within the monthly rental.
The client has the choice to include within the monthly payment a
maintenance
contract supported by the funder of the vehicle, the choice is
yours.
Cars Non Maintained
This requires you to arrange and pay for all servicing, maintenance
and repair
of the vehicle, outside of manufacturers warranty and your motor
insurance policy.

Should you choose to pay an additional monthly charge to include
maintenance
then the finance company will manage all costs associated to
servicing,
repairing and rectification of all problems associated to fair wear
and tear on
the vehicle whilst under contract, this includes items such as
tyres.

arranged with
a leading insurance company to offer fixed price multi year motor
insurance for
up to a three year period.
This service gives the driver the opportunity to purchase an
insurance policy that runs for the life of the vehicle and set the
premium at today's rate irrespective of future claims or
convictions.
The fixed price multi year policy can be financed on a monthly
direct debit
mandate.
For Business users, HALO will with your permission, introduce you to
an insurance specialist who will best evaluate the most cost
effective route for your business to insure the vehicles, again the
fixed price multi year policy is available to company car drivers.
It is of paramount importance that business users ensure that whilst
the driver is working that he is fully insured, failure could result
in the company or its
Directors Being personally liable for any road traffic incident that
occurs during
the drivers working hours.

Gap Insurance
In the event of a vehicle being stolen and not recovered or damaged
or deemed
beyond economic repair an insurance company will “write off” the car
and pay
out the market value of the vehicle at the time of the incident.
However, as a vehicle will generally depreciate in value more
rapidly than a
driver can repay the outstanding finance, the sum received would not
cover the
outstanding amount due under the finance agreement.
GAP insurance bridges the “gap” between the amount received from the
insurance company and the amount required to settle the finance on
the vehicle
contract up to a maximum of £5,000.
Most of the finance companies utilised by HALO Solutions include Gap
cover
within the monthly payments, however should a funder exclude Gap
cover then
HALO Solutions can offer it as an addition, if required, you will be
notified by
HALO Solutions prior to ordering the vehicle.

Accident Claims
If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in a motor vehicle
accident the implications can be serious. You may have to take time
off work resulting in lost earnings and almost certainly you will lose
the use of your vehicle either whilst repairs are being undertaken or
worse if the vehicle is beyond economic repair.
In cases where the accident was not your fault, you should be entitled
to a replacement motor vehicle equivalent to your own vehicle. The
cost of which should be borne by the Insurer of the responsible party.
