Time4leasing have 3 Fiesta car suppliers for the Short Term leasing and thought to let you know what really goes on in the Internet

Does do free delivery / collection except to Scotland. Major player on the Internet so customers must enquire and process application through Time4leasing only.

Disadvantage with this supplier is that the Insurance has to be done through their panel of Insurers and it seems from the feedback we have received that this is sometimes a bit expensive.

• Only have Fiesta vehicles up to 6 months lease

Does not do any Free Delivery / Collection. We have to quote customers using Google Maps at £1.25 per mile under 100 miles and £1 per mile over 100 miles. We worked out as an example the cost of delivery to a customers address which was £119 each way plus VAT

Then again if you include that into the monthly lease that would make it around £20 more per month.

• WE only use this supplier therefore for people within a reasonable vicinity of the depot (this is why we have requested towns / postal codes instead of Regions on the enquiry form)
   
• This supplier underwrites in-house so is not prepared to take any risks with adverse credit histories
   
• Restricted Mileage Limits - the car is only available on 12000 mpa with no option to extend but has better colour choice
   
• Only have vehicles on 12 month lease

Does do delivery / collection except to Scotland. For Scotland the delivery charge could be as much as £200 each way - nothing we could do about that! Obviously if the supplier was based in Scotland this wouldn't have happened or the customer collected from the depot.

• Restricted choice in colour - on 12 months currently only have beige or green in 3 door, and 5 week order on 5 door model which some clients don't want to wait for.  More colours are due in.
   
• Restricted Mileage Limits - the car is only available on 12000 mpa with no option to extend £100 Admin Fee charged by the Funder
   
• Only have vehicles on 12 month lease

(We currently have a lady in Wales who desperately wanted the black fiesta but we can only get a black one from the supplier who charges delivery and the price was £262.00 Excl vat each way (262 miles at £1 per mile)

Also, customers often request different models - these short term deals are not available on all Fiesta's in the range.

The offer is generally based on one car which is currently the 1.25 so if they ask for a 1.4 or 1.6 model on the 12 month deal they cannot have it as it is not available.

The 12 month deal is quite simply on the 1.25 Fiesta and no other Fiesta.

Customers also often ask if the car leasing price includes Insurance and Maintenance and it does not include either.

Then again its a brand new car so what can go wrong and it is under manufacture's warranty anyway.

Enquiries this month are high and we have had higher conversion. We have also had some credit declines due to adverse history - mainly due to current credit climate.
